Automotoretrò celebrates its 43rd edition in 2026, marking over four decades as one of Italy's most prestigious salons dedicated to historic motoring. Held at Fiere di Parma on March 7 and 8, this legendary event has showcased automotive heritage since 1983. Automotoretrò has grown into a major European destination attracting over 1,200 exhibitors and 67,000 visitors annually from across Europe.
The 2026 edition spans 50,000 square meters featuring three themed areas. Mal d'Africa pays tribute to the legendary Paris-Dakar rally with authentic desert racing machines. The Sportive degli Anni '60 honors the golden age of Italian sports cars, highlighted by the Lamborghini Miura and coachbuilt masterpieces.
Vintage Boat for Sale introduces classic boats and nautical heritage. The motorcycle sector features dedicated areas with iconic Italian brands including Ducati, Aprilia, MV Agusta, Moto Guzzi, Piaggio, Morini, Benelli, and Gilera.
The event hosts prominent museums including Automobili Lamborghini and Collezione E. Righini, alongside dealers, restoration specialists, and private collectors. The extensive parts marketplace attracts enthusiasts searching for rare components, while the model car section delights collectors.
Cultural programming includes the photography exhibition "Donne e motori? Gioie e basta" featuring Camilla Albertini's work, plus presentations from motorsport personalities including rally champion Marco Gramenzi.
The show opens daily, and its timing at the season's start positions Automotoretrò as Italy's first major classic car event of the year, perfectly complementing a visit to Emilia-Romagna's world-renowned culinary scene.
