For fourteen years, Chris Evans' CarFest grew from a Hampshire farm into the UK's biggest family fundraising festival, raising over £27 million for children's charities. In 2026, the event takes its biggest step yet – relocating to Silverstone, the Home of British Motor Racing, for an August Bank Holiday weekend that combines CarFest's established formula with the facilities only a world-class circuit can provide.
CarFest has always been about more than cars. It's a family festival where automotive enthusiasm sits alongside live music, celebrity chefs, wellness activities, and children's entertainment. Ten percent of every ticket goes directly to charity partners including BBC Children in Need, Teenage Cancer Trust, and Young Epilepsy, with all profits following the same path.
The cars remain central to the experience. Silverstone's Grand Prix circuit allows for track action that Laverstoke Park Farm simply couldn't accommodate, with demonstration runs, supercar parades, and displays spanning classic machinery to modern exotica. Kart Silverstone adds a state-of-the-art karting facility open to families throughout the weekend.
The festival zones cover every interest: KidsFest with inflatables and activities, FoodFest with cooking demonstrations, SpaFest for relaxation, and stages hosting live performances each evening. The atmosphere is deliberately inclusive – designed for families creating summer memories together, not exclusively for hardcore enthusiasts.
Silverstone's central England location improves accessibility from across the country. Camping is available on the circuit grounds for those making a full weekend of it.
