Concours on Savile Row

Event

Where else would you find a pre-war Lagonda parked outside a tailor that once dressed royalty? Concours on Savile Row transforms London's most famous tailoring street into an open-air automotive gallery – and entry is completely free.

Since its launch in 2022, this two-day event has become a fixture in both the car collector and bespoke tailoring calendars. Westminster City Council closes Savile Row to traffic, rolling out a red carpet for over 50 collector cars and motorcycles. The range is deliberately eclectic: vintage Ferraris alongside electric hypercars, custom motorcycles next to pre-war thoroughbreds. Each vehicle is carefully paired with one of the street's legendary tailoring houses, highlighting the craftsmanship that connects both worlds.

But it's not just about looking at cars. The tailors open their doors for behind-the-scenes tours, demonstrating cutting techniques that have been refined for over two centuries. A central stage hosts talks from car designers, collectors and industry insiders, with live music adding to the relaxed Mayfair atmosphere.

After a pause in 2025 due to nearby construction works, the Concours returns in May 2026. If you appreciate the intersection of design, craftsmanship and automotive culture – and don't mind a midweek trip to London – this is one of the most civilised ways to spend a day surrounded by exceptional machines.
