L'Élégance a du Cœur Megève transforms the prestigious Alpine concours d'elegance format into a charitable celebration benefiting pediatric cancer research on January 31 and February 1, 2026. Born from a partnership between the Automobile Club de Megève and Rallye du Cœur Lyon, this event demonstrates that true elegance resides not only in automotive design but in acts of solidarity for children battling illness.
The weekend showcase features 50 carefully selected exceptional vehicles spanning from 1930s classics to contemporary supercars, including rare models like the Porsche 550 from 1955, Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint 1957, Bugatti Type 51, and the Porsche 928 by Nardone. These automobiles parade through Megève's charming village streets alongside families of sick children, creating emotional moments that elevate the event beyond typical automotive gatherings. Participating vehicles demonstrate on synthetic ice and snow using GLICE technology against the spectacular Alpine backdrop.
Saturday's program features the main concours judged by automotive experts, hosted by television personality Dominique Chapatte. The evening culminates with an exclusive Gala Dinner at Le Hibou featuring artistic performances and charitable auction conducted by Maître Christophe Belleville. Sunday continues with vehicle exhibitions, a friendly Côte 2000 ski race, awards ceremony, and presentation of collected funds to APPEL Rhône-Alpes association.
The event maintains free public access to the Village des Voitures, though complimentary registration via Billetweb is required. Organizers target raising over 150,000 euros with 100% of donations directly funding pediatric cancer research programs.
